New Products Coming....
Summer has arrived in our neck of the world...the Ice Cream is dripping and the AC units are running overtime!
This month we have a few new products that we will be rolling out...such as Pie Candles, and some new Jar Candle scents. In addition, we are clearing out some of our soaps to make room for new ones...so be sure to check out the monthly specials or clearance pages.
Site re-vamp. Over the next week or 2 you will also notice that we are doing an overhaul on our website. I think you will be pleased with the simple and elegant new look.

Long time no post....and WE HAVE NEWS!!!
It is hard to believe that we haven't posted in our blog since January...for shame! We will be trying to make a good effort to post weekly...at least.
Here is what we have been up to since January....
On January 16th we found out that we were expecting our first child. I took a home pregnancy test at work (I also work PT at a Financial Institution). As I stood there waiting for it to change...I noticed nothing was happening. 4 minutes later I started to feel sad...thinking the test wouldn't show anything. Just as I went to throw it out, I made a discovery...I had it turned upside down...and it WAS positive!!
I must have re-read the directions about 3 times before it actually sunk in...then all I could do was look in the mirror and cry out of utter joy!!
I called hubby at work, but the poor guy was right in the middle of a meeting...I had to tell him anyway...it was SO funny! All his employees found out at the same time.
Then I ran down the hall in the bank and told all my co-workers. My manager said to me, "Um...Karen...is that the pee stick still in your hand?" What a goof...I totally forgot to put it away...teeheeehee.
Anyways, we are now coming up to our 5th month and couldn't be happier!

On the business side of things...a lot will be happening, and has happened. We have decided to discontinue quite a few of our moisturizing body bars as we want to focus on 4 or 5 of our most popular scents (Winter Candy Apple, White Tea & Ginger, Morning Rush, Be Delicious, and a NEW scent coming soon)
We will also be adding in a unscented moisturizing body bar for sensitive skin.

NEW SOAPIES :)
The wait is over...our new Designer Series of Soaps have arrived.
Here
are just 2 of them...
'Just Breathe' Body Soap...Tick, tock, tick, tock… like a thief in the night you slip silently into the shower before the sun is up. With your eyes still closed, you feel around for your favorite pick me up scent. Your hand closes around the bar and you quickly hold it up to your nose and breathe deeply, inhaling the brisk scent of luscious ripe black cherries as one eye slowly opens. Breathing deeper you imagine yourself in the middle of the grape fields of Italy.Warm breezes softly brushing your skirt around your bare legs... and as the sun warms your skin all you smell are the rich, ripe cherries on the vines before you.

'Pumpkin Crunch Cake' Body Soap...Nothing screams holiday goodness like Pumpkin Crunch Cake fresh from the oven. Imagine sitting at your kitchen table, a warm hunk of pumpkin goodness sitting before you. Spicy pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg, a bit of marshmallow fluff and light airy CAKE, topped with streusel topping and all of it is drenched in caramel and toffee.
Oh LAWD, I can feel the pounds on my hips as I type this. Fortunately it’s totally non edible but OH so good. You’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven.

NEW SCENTS HAVE ARRIVED!!
We have kept very busy at Simply Tempted, by adding new fragrances to some of our lines. These new fragrances are so yummy that I might not want to share!
First stop...our yummy Whipped Shea Butter Body Parfaits...
Pistachio Cream Cake:A decadent layer of soft yellow cake, creamy pistachio custard, topped off with luscious vanilla crème.
White Tea & Ginger:A delightful warm and comforting smell. With top notes of Bergamot, Lemon Peels and Green Daylilies, this fragrance is brought back to its roots with a base of Ginger, Nutmeg and Warm Musk.
Pumpkin Crunch Cake:Pumpkin Pie, Spices, Marshmallow Fluff, Toffee, Caramel, Hints of vanilla cake, sticky icing and streusel.

I tried one of these gorgeous soaps this morning...and of course hubby wanted to try one too. I wasn't really in the sharing mood, so I quickly handed him his own bar of Dove!

Relax and take it all in...
With Christmas fast approaching, we have decided to try something new this year...something so unbelievably ingeniuos that we don't know what to do with ourselves...want to know what it is....ok...but don't tell anyone.
We are going to relaxxxxxxxx...and take time to enjoy the world around us. Sounds crazy I know...but as the season approaches I see one common thing happening every single day...people in such a rush that they forget to enjoy themselves.
That was us last year. Simply Tempted was so busy that we almost forgot to enjoy the holidays...and before we knew it...they were over. We were a 1 man show last year...me, myself, and I....but this year we are going to try something different...I am going to try and put my husband to work. (Wish me luck with that one...lol)
Anyways...during the busy holiday shopping rush, please remember that nothing in this world is more important than your happiness and overall well being. Take the time to smile once in a while...take the time to hold the door open for a stranger...and take the time to realize how beautiful the world around us really is.
